Because of this.
Damnit.
I’m going to go get it patched this afternoon. Hopefully it didn’t fuck up the sidewall too badly. Because the Kia didn’t come with a spare or jack, I’m going to pull one of the old wheels out of the shed and buy a scissorjack and lug wrench.
That’s the Hyundai/Kia tire inflator kit. It did its jerb but damn if it didn’t take longer than it would have taken me to change the tire.

I hate how few cars come with spares now.

Yeah that pump won’t fix a big hole or a slash in the sidewall.

Sidewall looks trashed.... how long did you drive on it? If there’s lots of rubber granules inside the tire you’re fux0red.

I heard something when I dropped my wife off at work but then it started to whopwhopwhop after about a mile of driving.

TPMS light has been intermittently not working since I got new tires five months ago.

Similar thing happened to me a couple months ago, I got a pump blew it up and got it to a discount tire where they fixed it for free.
Hopefully you can do similar.
